Cassie Bendig: Prince Albert's new General Manager

Points West Living has just welcomed Cassie Bendig as the new general manager for Prince Albert. 

Cassie grew up in Prince Albert and after high school, attended the University of Saskatchewan where she obtained a BA of Science in Kinesiology and a Minor in business.  Through her student years, Cassie worked at gyms which proved to be great training for her job as general manager at GoodLife gym.

“In my years as a recreation director and general manager, I learned how to handle the business side of things, leading staff and offering strong customer service.”

Cassie later joined Parkland Ambulance as an emergency medical dispatcher where she worked for a number of years. But eventually, Cassie was ready for a change and so when the GM opportunity at PWL Prince Albert popped up she said she was excited to apply.

 “I wanted to go back to the type of career I originally loved; helping people live a happy, healthy lifestyle.“

Cassie says her goal as GM at Prince Albert is to help others live their best retired life.

“Working with retirees in an independent living residence gives me a great opportunity to give back to them all the years they gave to the world.  I want to bring positivity, activity and a caring atmosphere for the people living in our community.”  

On her time off, Cassie spends time with her children, walks her dogs and visits family and friends.
