Most recognizable Mom wins
Athens Creek contest

In the days leading up to Mothers’ Day, one of the residents at Points West Living Athens Creek in Penticton came up with a fun ‘Moms’ contest idea. Residents contributed photos of themselves as young mothers, and other residents guessed which vintage photo belonged to which-present day resident.
Once all of the ballots were in and tallied on Mothers’ Day, the most recognized photo was of Donna Shellenberg looking very cool with her four irrepressible children. For being the most recognizable, Donna won a plant basket with a gorgeous purple orchid.
Other Mothers’ Day activities at Athens Creek included a luncheon with tea sandwiches, punch, wine and music, and dancing with Sax Among Friends.
