Creepy Crawly Crazy Fun

It took a week of planning and decorating, and by Halloween, Points West Living Stettler was filled with ghouls, goblins, ghosts and… punk rockers! There was a contest to decide on the best-decorated cottage, so naturally, care partners and residents did their bit to make their decorations stand out. The stage was set for creepy crawly crazy fun. 

Giant spiders and pink haired punk rockers

The decorating contest ended in a tie between two cottages. Meeting Creek was bedecked in creepy splendour, with gigantic spiders and webs in every corner, and in Fenn Meadows, every resident and care partner dressed as a punk rocker. They had microphones and ‘guitars, bright coloured spiked hair, and delivering a hardcore spin to ‘You are My Sunshine’.

It was all in good fun and the day was topped off with a visit from Home Sweet Strome Day Home. There as an Olaf and an Elsa from the movie Frozen; a lady bug and an autumn fairy.
