Music In The Park

July 26th, 2016

Every Wednesday evening throughout the summer (weather permitting), residents of Points West Living Stettler get to enjoy live music in the park. The free concerts, arranged by the Town of Stettler are held just a block away at West Stettler Park.

Lovely path to park

“We went to the Erin Ross concert on July 20th, and had such a fabulous time, we are doing it again,” says recreation coordinator Jenn Dixon. “There is a lovely path between Points West and the bandstand. It fits two wheelchairs side by side and is about a block to the gazebo.”

“Every Wednesday evening through July and August if the weather is good, we will go. As many volunteers as we can get, that’s how many residents we can take. More volunteers are always welcome,” Jenn adds.

Bring a lawnchair

“So if you’re free on a Wednesday night, think of us. Bring a lawn chair and meet us at the PWL Stettler reception desk at 6:30. It’s a great time with fresh air, and taking a resident is an experience I can’t put into words. It is awesome. There is nothing like it.”
