Musical Moment in Grande Prairie

Residents at Points West Living Grand Prairie enjoyed a rousing sing-a-long this month, thanks to music therapist Kelsi McInness from Songbird Melodies. Kelsi volunteered her time and skills one morning, and led residents, like Norm Foster (pictured) in big band songs and old time favourites. 

Norm had tears in his eyes singing "You are My Sunshine", and said later, he loved singing the songs because he remembered all the words.

According to educator, Marlene Begg, the singing was so enthusiastic, staff and visitors were drawn from around the building to listen and join in.
