A no-visit Christmas season

December 9th, 2020

The recent surge in COVID cases has prompted just about every region in the country to impose restrictions that will remain in effect through the Christmas season and into January. Parties and large family gatherings are out, and our social bubbles have shrunk to include only those currently living in one's household – a turkey is going to be far too large for many festive tables.

Points West Living and Connecting Care communities are asking designated family and support persons to once again re-evaluate their loved one's need for them to be physically present. If the answer is ‘But it’s Christmas…’, then please consider connecting virtually (we can help with that), and postponing your in-person visits until the current COVID situation settles down.

Any essential visit must be prearranged with your community’s general manager or designate.

With COVID vaccines becoming available in the coming months, we sincerely hope the disease will be on the decline, and we will soon be able catch up on the joys of physical connections.
