Turkey-time at PWL Heritage House brings
kids and residents together

October 10th, 2018

On the last Friday before Thanksgiving, a class of Grade 5 students from AL Horton School visited Points West Living Heritage House in Vegreville. They were there to work with residents on a turkey craft, and to talk and play on a theme of thankfulness.

The turkey craft involved decorating different sized cans as turkeys. The cans used were everything from pop and soup cans to coffee tins. The class then went to residents and asked them 5 questions on gratitude, and finally played a game of Question Bingo with them.
