PWL Stettler celebrates graduates;
past, present, and by association

July 5th, 2018

Points West Living Stettler celebrated graduates recently, and not just those who were receiving their completion certificates this spring. They celebrated grads past and present and they honoured those who were celebrating their loved ones’ graduations.

Proud parents and grandparents

“Many of our employee care partners had children graduating from high school,” says office administrator, Ashley Muhlbach, “and many residents attended their grandchildren’s graduations.”

Resident Marvin Reinhart says he was cheering from the stands at his grandson’s graduation. Maintenance care partner Manny Cruz had flown home to the city of Muntinlupa in the Phillipines to attend his son’s graduation. Both proudly shared photos of their grads.

A bit of fun for former grads

“This made us reflect on our own graduations,” Ashley says, “So, we care partners decided to get in on the fun by bringing in our high school graduation photos for a ‘then and now’ photo. Some care partners graduated just a few years ago and others of us preferred not to say how long it’s been since graduation.”

HCA grads

“We also wanted to celebrate those care partners who have completed their Health Care Aide course – another wonderful milestone,” Ashley adds. “It is these graduates that contribute to bettering the lives of our residents. Everyone at Points West Living Stettler was in the celebratory spirit and we were all so proud of those who have put in the time and effort to achieve these goals.”
