Points West Living Moose Jaw offers 76 rental suites & 18 condos for 55+ Carefree Independent Living Lifestyle.

The community is specifically designed with common areas and features that allow individuals to “age in place.” This community provides varied housing options and levels of services, which are designed to respond to the individual needs of those who may require assistance with certain activities of daily living, but do not need access to 24 hour on-site nursing care.

When did the community open?

This beautiful four storey community opened in 2014.

What are the types of suites & rental rates/condo pricing?

There are suites that range from 392 – 1226 square feet. Please contact the General Manager for rates/condo pricing.

Is there a choice in room size, layout?

There is studio, 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom floor plans.

Are appliances included?

Yes, there is a dishwasher, stove, fridge, washer and dryer.

What services does the rent cover?

The rental suites include weekly light housekeeping, power, heat and water, and three meals per day and snacks; weekly linen services; recreation; 24 hour employee care partners and security. Extras would include technology package (phone, cable & internet). The Condo suites have the option to purchase services (Lifestyle Package Options).

What types of on-site Amenities will there be?

Dining Room, 24 Hour Bistro, Multi-Purpose Room with Library, TV, Dance Floor, Games area, Hair Salon, Parking, Courtyard, Walking Paths and Transit. All areas in the community are wheelchair accessible.

Who provides the food? Does it come in frozen? Where is it prepared and by whom? Is there a dietician involved in the planning of the meals and special diets?

Points West Living provides home-made meals. We offer residents a variety of choices, allowing them to enjoy local favorites, familiar foods and specialties. Fresh fruits and vegetables are used when possible. All food is prepared fresh daily, on-site by employee care partners of Points West Living. Employee care partners are trained in food preparation and handling. They prepare food based on a 4 -week menu cycle. Menus are based on the Canada Food Guide and are approved by a Dietary Technologist.

If the menus are pre-planned, what about holidays, special events, or requests?

While there is a 4-week menu cycle, there is always flexibility within that cycle. All menus are reviewed monthly with special consideration given for holidays; special events and occasions; as well as residents' requests.

Who can reside at Points West Living?

Any persons over 55.
